![]() After employment by both a large and a small law firm, Mr. Harrison opened his own practice in Plymouth, Michigan in 1994. Since that time he has litigated condemnation/eminent domain on a state wide basis while also conducting a vibrant local real estate and litigation practice. Mr. Harrison is a member of the Better Business Bureau, and is a past member of State Bar of Michigan's Real Property Law Education Committee and the American Bar Association's Real Property Section Condemnation Law Committee. | He has given speeches at the American Bar Association's annual meeting (addressing the Real Property Condemnation Committee concerning recent trends in real property valuation litigation), to the Washtenaw County Bar Association, Real Estate Committee, and to the Corktown Community Counsel concerning condemnation matters. His published article in the ABA's edition of "Current Condemnation Law" concerned range of testimony jurisprudence in condemnation matters. As a litigator since the mid 1980's, Mr. Harrison has tried cases involving various issues in 8 different Michigan Circuit Courts, in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and has appeared before the Court of Appeals on numerous occasions.
